Jaguar has released an image depicting the front fascia of what appears to be an XE-S.

It was only yesterday when Jaguar published a new batch of details about their 3-Series fighter and now the model has made a comeback in an image showing the front fascia. It is part of the "FEEL XE" platform created to "harness the spirit of British creativity and innovation using an inspiring collective of figures from the worlds of music, film and design." In other words, this is basically a marketing campaign for the XE which will include artists and personalities like Emeli Sandé, Stella McCartney and Idris Elba promoting Jaguar's baby sedan.

In this image we notice an "S" badge on the grille which means that under the hood is probably a V6 3.0-liter supercharged taken from the F-Type S, an engine which Jaguar has already confirmed for the XE. We remind you that in the F-Type Roadster & Coupe it's offered with 340 PS (250 kW) and 380 PS (279 kW) in the "S" variant.

If that's not impressive enough, there are rumors of a range-topping XER-S equipped with the supercharged V8 5.0-liter engine of the 550 PS F-Type R Coupe which will likely power the version Jaguar says will hit the 186 mph (300 km/h) mark.

The standard 2015 XE (and perhaps the S as well) will be revealed on September 8.
