Ford's hotter Mustang looks and sounds terrifying (in a good way) and it seems the engineers at Special Vehicle Team are testing several tweaks to improve what will end up being a SVT- or GT350-badged model. Power will likely come from an evolution of the naturally aspirated V8 5.0-liter engine lurking underneath a ventilated hood and expected to produce a lot more than 435 bhp (324 kW) and 541 Nm (400 lb-ft) available in the Mustang GT.

The prototype spotted hear wears a massive body kit including a prominent front chin spoiler while at the back there's a beefy diffuser and a quad exhaust system providing a beastly soundtrack. Stopping power could be provided by a set of carbon ceramic brakes and also on the menu are more masculine side skirts while the fog lights seem to be gone.

Expect the Mustang SVT / GT350 to be introduced sometime next year as a 2016MY and it should command a serious premium over the 2015 Mustang GT which kicks off at 32,295 USD (including 825 USD destination charge).
