The all-new Mustang hasn't even gone on sale yet but Ford is already working on expanding the lineup with a more powerful version. Seen here is the SVT / GT 350 derivative set to come out possibly towards the end of next year as a 2016MY with a significantly more aggressive body and what appear to be carbon ceramic brakes. Other noticeable features include a ventilated hood, a quad exhaust system and a beefy rear diffuser.

Since the model is being developed by Ford's Special Vehicle Team (SVT), chances are the "Shelby" moniker will be dropped while under the hood will likely be an upgraded V8 5.0-liter. In the Mustang GT, the eight-cylinder motor is rated at 435 bhp (324 kW) and 541 Nm (400 lb-ft) so expect these power figures to increase considerably for the SVT model.

Needless to say, the Mustang SVT will cost significantly more than the GT which starts at 32,925 USD.
