Rolls-Royce has teamed up with ten students from the March CE Primary School to build a special electric vehicle.

Designed specifically for last weekend's Greenpower IET Formula Goblin race, the car is more soap box derby racer than 102EX concept. As a result, it's a relatively basic four-wheel kart with a rollover bar and a prominent grille.

Rolls-Royce declined to release performance specifications but they said the car "finished well up the order." The model also won an award for having the best bodywork.

According to Rolls-Royce Global Corporate Communications Manager and project team leader Andrew Ball, "We were delighted to support the March CE Primary School with their Greenpower entry. The team at Rolls-Royce were impressed with the children’s enthusiasm and passion for the project and we have no doubt that they are engineers of the future.”
