Ford will be exhibiting at this year's EAA AirVenture a one-off 2015 Mustang featuring a Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II theme.
In recent years, Ford has created a tradition from preparing special aviation-themed models to showcase at the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. For this year, they have a 2015 Mustang featuring a Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II theme which features a similar matte titanium body paint scheme adorned with yellow and blue accents.
Among the changes, we notice the massive front splitter made from carbon fiber, rear diffuser and special decals. On the inside there will be Recaro bucket seats together with yellow tinted glass as well as other tweaks.
The one-off pony car will be auctioned at the Gathering of Eagles charity event at EAA AirVenture and all the money will be donated to the EAA Young Eagles program. It's a non-profit organization in charge of providing free flights and since 1992 almost two million people participated in the program.
