Available in short and long wheelbases, the special edition can be had as a Kombi or panel van and comes with unique 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels featuring an anthracite finish. It can be further distinguished by its glossy black door mirror covers, black steel side bars, special decals as well as front and rear parking sensors. Customers also get electronically adjustable and heated door mirrors, remote central locking, ABS, climate control and electric windows.

Inside the cabin it boasts a Kenwood satellite navigation system with smartphone mirroring functionality and support for Bluetooth and DAB radio. There's also new quilted and embossed leather upholstery and a stereo with CD player. Color choices include Reflex Silver or Deep Black while for more money the Transporter Sportline 60 can feature a Candy White finish with a Deep Black roof.

Power comes exclusively from a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter BiTDI engine delivering 180 PS (132 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) delivered to the road through a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG.

Prices kick off at 29,940 GBP for the short wheelbase 6-speed manual model and rise to 34,170 GBP for the long wheelbase 7-speed DSG, with both prices excluding VAT.
