Ford has made a series of important changes to the Fusion for the upcoming 2015 model year.
The 2014MY comes with a 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine but since Ford introduced a smaller and just as efficient 1.5-liter EcoBoost, there's no reason to keep both engines in the lineup. As a result, the 1.6-liter has been discontinued and the Blue Oval company has also removed the manual six-speed gearbox which was previously available only with the aforementioned 1.6 EB engine.
The 2015 Ford Fusion is now offered as standard with additional content such as a backup camera and the entry-level Fusion S comes with ten-spoke 16-inch alloys instead of the previous steel wheels. Customers also get as standard configurable daytime running lights as well as the choice of four fresh body colors: Bronze Fire Tinted Clearcoat Metallic, Guard, Tectonic and Magnetic.
Opt for Fusion SE and you get six-way power adjustable passenger seat while Fusion Titanium now comes with ten-way power adjustable passenger seat. Lastly, all-wheel drive is available for the SE Apperance and SE Luxury variants.
