Nissan has released details about its 2015MY lineup but surprisingly the Cube was not included.

The Cube is far from being a sales performer in Nissan's U.S. lineup which is why the model will likely be axed for the 2015 model year. Nissan released this week details about the incoming MY but surprisingly there's no mention of the Cube, thus indicating the model will probably be phased out after the 2014MY ends.

Our colleagues from MotorTrend contacted Nissan USA and asked them about the Cube's future but the company's response was quite vague as they said: "all I can confirm for now is that it's currently available through model year 2014."

Introduced in United States back in 2009, the Cube's best year was 2010 when Nissan delivered 22,968 cars while last year only 5,461 units were purchased whereas sales of segment competitor Kia Soul hit 118,079 units.
