Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has revealed the SCG 003's carbon fiber chassis. Debuting at 2015 Geneva Motor Show
Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has revealed the SCG 003's carbon fiber chassis.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, they were the brains behind the Ferrari Enzo-based P4/5 and the Ferrari 430 Scuderia-based P4/5 Competizione. Now, they are working on their very own car which isn't based on something else and as you can see will feature a carbon fiber chassis.
It will reportedly weigh only 1,600 lbs (725 kg) and is expected to come with a twin-turbo V6 3.5-liter engine which is probably Ford's EcoBoost motor. James Glickenhaus says several people have already expressed their interest and if there will be enough demand, a limited production run will be considered, enough to homologate the SCG 003 for racing as a track version is also in the works for the SPX Class in next year's VLM/24H Nürburgring Championship.
A full reveal of the SCG 003 is scheduled for March 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show.
