A pre-production Hyundai ix25 was spotted in China without any sort of body camouflage.

Essentially a toned down version of the concept, the production-ready ix25 looks less flashy as a result of the blander headlights and smaller alloy wheels. Gone are the concept's chromed exhaust tips and there's also a different rear bumper looking less attractive while the license plate enclosure is now more pronounced.

Surprisingly, Hyundai doesn't plan on selling the ix25 outside China which is a bit odd taking into account B-segment crossovers are a hit in Europe nowadays. The vehicle is going to be 4270mm long, 1780mm wide and 1630mm tall and will ride on the same platform as the second-gen i20.

A full reveal is expected to occur on October 9, with sales to begin towards the end of the year.
