We are still waiting for Mercedes-Benz to finally show us the CLA Shooting Brake so that we can then focus on its AMG cousin which should arrive a few months later. Seen here is RM Design's vision of the hotter variant and most likely it's the most accurate render out there of what will be a downsized CLS 45 AMG Shooting Brake.

It will likely end up being one of the most attractive wagons out there and matching the aggressive yet elegant looks will be AMG's well-known 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo taken from the other A-Class AMGs (A, CLA, GLA). It will deliver 360 PS (265 kW) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) to both axles with help from a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. Due to a slightly higher weight, the CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake will be a few ticks of a second slower than the four-door version which sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds.

Expect the regular variant this October at the Paris Motor Show while the AMG derivative could be shown before the end of the year or early 2015.
