Opel has released new details about the 2015 Corsa, ahead of its launch later this year.
Opel has released new details about the 2015 Corsa.
Set to go on sale later this year, the redesigned model is currently undergoing "final validation drives" to "test the harmonious fine-tuning of all components."
The company was coy on specifications but confirmed the car will be offered with a turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine that develops 115 PS (85 kW). It will be connected to a new six-speed manual transmission which been highly praised by engineers and the company's board members.
Opel also confirmed the car will have an improved steering system and a "newly developed chassis." Little is known about the latter but the company says the "huge leap made from the Corsa D to the Corsa E is clearly noticeable."
