WCF reader Lutz Valdeig has sent us a render with his vision of a potential second generation Aston Martin Rapide.
Work started on the front where the designer envisioned the second-gen Rapide with the front fascia influenced by the One-77 with an enlarged hexagonal grille together with a massive bumper with side vents. There's also a redesigned hood with two subtle creases along with a pair of new headlights with blackened graphics.
The more masculine side profile comes with wider shoulders and restyled mirrors while the door handles have been borrowed from the current model. The artist chose large glossy black dual five-spoke alloy wheels to create a more aggressive stance for the British high-performance sedan.
There might not be a second gen Rapide at all as it is believed Aston Martin's planned overhaul will focus on its core models (DB9, Vantage, Vanquish) while the Rapide and Lagonda SUV are still under consideration.
