Hyundai has officially launched the Tucson The Walking Dead special edition.
Designed to appeal to diehard fans of the graphic novel series, The Walking Dead edition has an Ash Black exterior with body side graphics and special badging. The crossover also comes with four decals - Hilltop, Kingdom, Saviors and Survivors - that will enable buyers to display their allegiance to certain factions from The Walking Dead.
The cabin is tastefully restrained and comes nicely equipped with black leather seats, special floor mats and a seven-inch touchscreen display with a special The Walking Dead splash screen. The model also has special badging and a "Zombie Survival Kit" that includes everything from zip ties to mint toothpaste.
Under the hood, there's a 2.4-liter Theta II GDI engine that develops 182 bhp (135 kW) and 177 lb-ft (240 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.
The model is currently arriving at dealerships but there's no word on pricing.
