The World Cup is underway and millions of Americans are pretending to care about soccer - at least until Team USA gets knocked out.

In honor of their sacrifice, Audi has built a giant World Cup scoreboard in Brooklyn. It is comprised of 45 shipping containers and 28 A8 sedans which have been equipped with LED headlights. The scoreboard measures over 40 feet (12.1 meters) tall and is visible from miles away - even by airplanes.

According to Audi of America Director of Marketing Loren Angelo, “Audi is proud to bring the passion of international soccer to the shores of Manhattan with a fun, eye-catching LED installation. As the U.S. appetite for international soccer grows, Audi will continue to bring fans exciting activations that enhance their soccer experience."
