Alfa Romeo has announced plans to stage the U.K. debut of the MiTo and Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
First up, the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde will go on sale in July and be priced from £28,120 (OTR). It features a sporty exterior with anthracite accents, tinted windows and a dual exhaust system. The model also has a lowered sports suspension and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Interior changes are relatively limited but the model boasts leather / Alcantara sport seats, a sport steering wheel and aluminum pedals. There's also Quadrifoglio Verde sill plates, special floor mats and a Uconnect infotainment system with a 6.5-inch display.
Power is provided by a turbocharged 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 240 bhp (179 kW) and 250 lb-ft (340 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a dual-clutch transmission which enables the model to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.0 seconds, before hitting a top speed in excess of 149 mph (240 km/h).
The MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde, on the other hand, will cost £20,210 (OTR) when it goes on sale in next month. It follows in the footsteps of its bigger brother and boasts a sportier rear bumper, a dual exhaust system and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The cabin comes nicely equipped with sport seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and a faux carbon fiber dashboard
Motivation is provided by a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine that develops 170 bhp (126 kW) and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque. It is paired to a dual-clutch transmission which enables the hatchback to accelerate 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 7.3 seconds before topping out at 136 mph (218 km/h).
