New UK-based company Elemental is teasing the RP-1 track-focused model ahead of a Goodwood debut scheduled for late this month.

Straight from Surrey comes a road-legal, two-seater lightweight track toy that promises to offer 276 bhp (206 kW) in a body weighing just 450 kg (992 lbs). Power will come from a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine coupled to a sequential paddle shift gearbox and providing 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) per ton and 200 kg of downforce at 100 mph (161 km/h).

The Elemental RP-1 will also have a fully independent suspension and a configurable dash display connected to incorporated cameras to watch replays just like in a video game. Other goodies will include a heated footwell and secure storage space, while the cabin will be tall enough to accommodate a 1.98-meter driver.

Following its debut at the end of this month, the RP-1 is set to enter production in 2015 in UK and will be offered with additional engines. The creators say it will have "a carbon fiber tub, motorsport-derived aerodynamics, dramatic styling" and will pack an owner-tunable suspension.
