A prototype of the facelifted Audi A6 allroad quattro was spied undergoing testing.

The A6 allroad quattro came out approximately two years ago but it seems a minor nip and tuck is already in the works and should come out in the months to come, with sales probably slated to kick off early next year. Don't expect a lot of design changes as the styling revisions will be modest at best, in typical VAG fashion.

Most likely the matrix LED headlights will be optionally offered since prototypes of the 2015 A6 and A6 Avant facelift were spotted carrying these headlamps which made their debut on the A8/S8 facelift. There should also be some changes inside the cabin where the infotainment system will be brought up to date.

Audi's recently updated V6 3.0 TDI Clean Diesel will find its way under the hood and will be offered in two states of tune: 218 PS (160 kW) and 272 PS (200 kW). There should also be a 3.0 TFSI delivering 310 PS (228 kW) while gearbox choices will include the S tronic and an eight-speed triptonic, with all of them working with a standard quattro arrangement.
