The production-ready Nissan e-NV200 was introduced in November 2013 at the Tokyo Motor Show and now it’s ready to reach the UK market in van and five-seat combi versions.
It's an all-electric van promising to "change the LCV market forever" with a Leaf-sourced powertrain and a starting price of 13,393 GBP. Nissan says using the vehicle will cost 2 pence per mile, bringing significant fuel savings as well as reduced maintenance costs.
The initial purchase price can be reduced if the client opts for the "Flex" battery leasing option. Moreover, the panel van benefits from an 8,000 GBP Plug In Van Grant (PiVG) while the five-seater combi qualifies for a 5,000 GBP Plug In Car Grant. It is important to mention the 13,393 GBP starting price is for the van with the "Flex" plan and includes the grant. The starting price for the van (including batteries) is 16,526 GBP (grant included).
Standard goodies for the van include 15-inch steel wheels, electric mirrors, rearview camera, two sliding doors, ABS & VDC and two speakers. Acenta Rapid trim adds rapid charging capabilities while Acenta Rapid Plus brings an on-board 6.6 kW fast charger. There's also the Tekna Rapid which brings 15-inch alloys, multifunction steering wheel, more airbags, cruise control, body-colored bumpers and others.
Both the van and five-door combi versions will go on sale this July.
