Development work continues on the 2015 Rolls-Royce Wraith Drophead Coupe as our spies have snapped new photos of the upcoming model.
Set to become the brand's entry-level convertible, the Wraith Drophead Coupe has a familiar design but adopts a power operated soft top. Unsurprisingly, this change has resulted in a modified rear end which is more conservative than the coupe.
Despite the changes, the model will use a twin-turbo 6.6-liter V12 engine that develops 632 PS (465 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the coupe to accelerate 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, so expect the convertible to be a tad slower.
The Wraith Drophead Coupe is expected to be launched next summer but nothing is official as of yet.
