Nissan has announced plans to introduce a new Nismo model at ZDayZ festival in North Carolina on May 16th.

The company was coy on details but the teaser's file name is "2015_nissan_nismo_370z_teaser.jpg" which leaves little to the imagination.

Sad marketing attempts aside, the image suggests the car will be equipped with an aggressive front bumper with a larger air intake. We can also see new daytime running lights and NISMO badging.

There's no word on any other changes but the 2014 370Z Nismo has a 3.7-liter V6 engine that develops 350 bhp (261 kW) and 276 lb-ft (374 Nm) of torque. It is connected exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission with SynchroRev Match technology that automatically "blips" the throttle to smooth out gear changes.
