The new generation Audi TT RS has been speculatively rendered by X-Tomi Design who came up with a potential look for the baby R8.

The third-gen Audi TT came out only a couple of months ago so it's too early to expect the TT RS version but nevertheless independent designers have already started to show their vision of a range-topping TT. Since this will be another VAG product, don't expect any drastic design changes as the RS will basically look like an angrier TTS, packing a more aggressive body kit in the same vein as this render.

Matching the beefed up appearance will be an engine packing more than the 310 PS (228 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) offered by the 2.0 TFSI in the TTS. The identity of this motor has not been disclosed so far but chances are Audi has decided to retain the previous model's 5-cylinder 2.5-liter turbo but with a few tweaks to boast output. The same engine could also be offered in the upcoming RS3 although some reports are indicating a 400 PS 2.0 TSI.

Don't expect the Audi TT RS sooner than 2015 and chances are it will be followed by an even more powerful TT RS Plus in 2016 or so.
