Ford has announced plans to raffle a one-off 2015 Mustang 50 Years Convertible.
Drawing cues from the Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition, the convertible has a Wimbledon White exterior with a revised grille, additional chrome trim and "GT 50 Years” badging.
The cabin features two-tone leather seats, contrast stitching and special floor mats. There's also "axle spin-finish" aluminum trim and a dash plaque with Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford's signature and the serial number 0001 of 0001.
Last but not least, the model has been equipped with a performance package that includes a limited-slip differential, six-piston Brembo front brake calipers and 19-inch wheels with Pirelli P-Zero summer tires.
Power will be provided by a 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops more than 420 bhp (313 kW) and 390 lb-ft (528 Nm) of torque. It will be connected to a six-speed manual transmission.
The special edition model will be raffled off at the Woodward Dream Cruise on August 16th and the proceeds will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased online at www.ford4ms.com.
