The limited-run Lykan Hypersport from W Motors has been filmed while arriving at this year's Top Marques Monaco.
Citizens of Monaco are used to seeing the latest supercars but the Lykan Hypersport was a surprise appearance taking into account it comes from a virtually unknown automaker based in Beirut, Lebanon. Only seven of these cars will be built and all will carry a staggering price tag of 3.4M USD.
The aggressive and unique exterior styling is matched by a RUF-developed flat-six 3.7-liter twin-turbo engine outputting 770 PS (566 kW) and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft). Output is transferred to the rear axle through a 6-speed sequential transmission which enables the supercar to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds before topping out at 245 mph (395 km/h).
These performance figures do indeed sound impressive but paying 3.4M USD for this when there are plenty of "cheaper" alternatives is just insane. We don't know the Koenigsegg One:1’s price tag but surely it has to be lower.
