Initially believed to be yet another facelift, the Opel Corsa is finally getting an all-new generation and we can catch a glimpse of it in these spy shots.

Spotted here are both the three- and five-door versions which appear to be entirely different than the aging model. In addition, the differences between the two body styles seem to be more significant at the back, with the three-door version looking much sleeker. The front fascia is derived from the smaller Adam and will give the new Corsa a considerably more refined appearance, while at the back there could be some Meriva influences.

We don't have pictures of the interior at this moment but our sources have told us to expect an uncluttered layout with upscale materials and an entirely different center console as well as a reshaped Chevrolet-like steering wheel.

As far as engines are concerned, we expect to find at least the Adam's 3-cylinder 1.0-liter SIDI Turbo available with 90 PS (66 kW) and 115 PS (85 kW).

Chances are we could see it this October in Paris or in March 2015 during the Geneva show.
