The custom 2013 Ford Mustang GT from the Need for Speed movie went under the hammer at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction earlier this month. The special car earned $300,000 (217,000 EUR) for the Henry Ford Health System non-profit organization, supporting the Edith and Benson Ford Heart and Vascular Institute.

The Mustang GT, created specifically for the blockbuster movie, features a custom body kit that consists of a wider front bumper and extended side skirts. The special vehicle also has angel-eye fog lights and 22-inch Forgiato alloy wheels and is powered by a supercharged V8 engine.
