Several new official images with the Mercedes-Benz Concept Coupe have emerged, prior to a full reveal scheduled for tomorrow at Beijing Motor Show.

Mercedes-Benz is working hard on a competitor for the BMW X6 and it will likely be derived from this concept. It has just about the same body shape as its Bavarian rival, trying to combine the silhouette of an SUV with a roofline that you typically find on coupes. The Concept Coupe received a short rear overhang together with a pair of slender interconnected taillights.

At the front it has a brushed aluminum grille along with underbody protection while the sides show huge alloy wheels and sleek door handles. We also notice a massive panoramic roof together with a shiny chrome treatment for the side sills, exhaust pipes and faux diffuser.

The production version will likely ride on the same platform as the next generation M-Class. Production will take place at the Tuscaloosa, Alabama factory in United States where Mercedes-Benz currently makes the M-Class.

More details and a full photo gallery should be available by tomorrow.
