Following an announcement made earlier this week, BMW of North America has officially revealed the 228i Coupe fitted with the optional Track Handling Package.

Available starting July, the kit was specifically designed for the 228i Coupe and will come with bespoke 18-inch lightweight alloy wheels wrapped around in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Customers will also be rewarded with M Sport Brakes and a Variable Sport Steering system equipped with a mechanical steering rack and a variable steering ratio.

In addition, the package includes an M Adaptive Suspension which lowers the coupe's ride height by 10mm and makes use of several sensors to provide a "comprehensive real-time profile of damping needs at all four corners to effectively read and adapt to the road" in just a few milliseconds.

BMW hasn't released pricing details but they do say the kit will be available for both the six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic transmissions.
