Henry Ford's dream is one step closer to being realised. John Bakker has put together a management team, and has found some initial backing, to develop the first PAL-V (Personal Air and Land Vehicle). The PAL-V can reach speeds of upto 200km/h on land and in the air. So if traffic is congested, fly, if the weather doesn't allow flying, drive, basicly meaning that The Netherlands and UK will have little use for it. With the very short take off and vertical landing (VSTOVL) this car/bike/gyrocopter should work fine in city areas as well as rural (roads are luxury) areas. Prices are not known, but should be comparable to an executive saloon.
