Development work continues on the 2015 Range Rover Sport RS as our spies have caught the model undergoing testing on the Nürburgring.

Dressed in a distinctive blue and white wrap, the Range Rover Sport RS has a familiar design but adopts a more aggressive front fascia with a mesh grille and larger air intakes. The sport styling continues out back as there's a rear diffuser that is flanked by a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system. The model also has massive alloy wheels which are backed up by a high-performance braking system.

Land Rover has been relatively coy about the model but it is expected to use a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 550 HP (405 kW) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque. This is 40 HP (29 kW) and 55 Nm (40 lb-ft) more than the Range Rover Sport Supercharged, so the Range Rover Sport RS should accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 5.0 seconds.
