Jay Leno is the proud owner of the very first U.S.-spec McLaren P1 supercar which is being built in a limited series of 375 units.

The ex-Tonight Show host placed an order for the P1 in Volcano Yellow even before testing McLaren's range-topping model last September at Top Gear's test track. After months of waiting, he now took delivery of the vehicle which coincidentally is also the first U.S.-spec. model. It will be sitting in a massive garage alongside its predecessor, the McLaren F1 which is one of Jay Leno's favorite cars of all time.

We remind you the McLaren P1 combines a 737 HP V8 3.8-liter twin-turbo gasoline engine with a 179 HP electric motor to offer a combined output of 916 HP (676 kW). It will do 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in only three seconds and is capable of hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).
