Guerlain Chicherit's attempt to establish a new world record for the longest car jump ended with a massive crash.

The jump was supposed to take place on Sunday but was postponed until Tuesday due to heavy fog and as you can see in the attached video, it didn't go very well. Using a Monster Energy / Toyo Tires MINI Countryman rally car, he tried to take down Tanner Foust's 332 feet (101.19 meters) record from 2011 but miscalculated and went through a horrible crash, rolling the vehicle several times before landing with two wheels up in the air.

Emergency services arrived right away and managed to transport Guerlain Chicherit to the hospital. Almost unbelievably, the injuries are not life-threatening and he has been active on Facebook ever since the crash, mentioning in one of his posts that "I have to stay to the hospital for the night just for safety, I'm all ok !!!"
