It is always funny to compare two cars that are quite different from one another. What we have this time is a RWD BMW M135i and a Volkswagen Golf Mk7 R20 with 4x4 system.

These two hot hatches really don’t share a bolt - the BMW has a 3.0-liter inline six turbocharged petrol unit, while the VW has a classic 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine. In terms of power, the Bavarian car comes with 320 HP versus 300 HP for the Wolfsburg hatch. Nevertheless, on paper the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint should take 4.9 seconds for both vehicles.

Let's get to the point - what do you think, which one is quicker reaching the electronically limited 260 km/h (161 mph)? Find out in the video from TopSpeed Automobil.
