Jeep has prepared a special edition of the Wrangler called "Rubicon X Package" exclusively for the European market.

Jeep seems to be very inspired when it comes down to special edition Wranglers as they have prepared yet another one, this time for the Euro-spec model. The Rubicon X Package is based on the Rubicon trim level and can be distinguished by its seven-slot black front grille and a dual-intake Power Dome hood. It also has a deep-tint sunscreen glass, body-colored spare tire cover, black fuel-filler door and rides on 17-inch black alloy wheels.

Available as a two-door Wrangler and a four-door Wrangler Unlimited, this latest special edition is configured with a body-colored hard top (both Sunrider and three-piece modular Freedom Top available). Inside it gets black or red leather seats, with the first ones being heated as standard. There's also a leather-wrapped steering wheel, silver accents and Mopar's tread-pattern slush floor mats. Also as standard equipment is the Uconnect infotainment system packing a 6.5-inch touchscreen display and a 40GB hard drive.

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X Package is programmed to reach European dealerships in the second quarter of the year and will be offered with a 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine generating 200 bhp (149 kW) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) as well as with a V6 Pentastar 3.6-liter gasoline engine outputting 284 bhp (212 kW) and 347 Nm (256 lb-ft). Both engines will work together with a 5-speed automatic gearbox.

Additional details can be found in the attached press release.
