Volkswagen has introduced the Multivan Alltrack concept at the 84th Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland.

The minivan has received Volkswagen's Alltrack all-wheel drive system also found in the rugged-looking Passat Variant Alltrack. Its exterior has been covered in what the German marque is describing as being a Moonstone Mother of Pearl Effect color while 19-inch high-gloss alloy wheels and matte silver underbody protection round off the styling changes.

Inside the cabin there is a Poltrona Frau natural leather upholstery complemented by the dark brown wood boat floor. There's also an eight-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment system together with a Dynaudio Surround Sound system featuring a centrally-mounted speaker.

At its heart is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder TDI engine outputting 180 HP (132 kW) working together with a multi-plate Haldex coupling installed to the rear axle. Volkswagen mentions the Multivan Alltrack concept has a 21-degree approach angle and a 15-inch departure angle.

A production model could very well be in the making since the concept seen here looks almost ready to arrive in showrooms, albeit with some minor interior changes.
