Nissan has announced the 2015 GT-R Nismo will be priced from $149,990 - excluding a $1,595 destination and handling fee - in the United States.

Set to go on sale on July 31th, the high-performance model has a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that develops 600 bhp (447 kW) and 481 lb-ft (651 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed sequential dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system that enabled the car to set a somewhat contested Nürburgring lap time of 7:08.679.

The GT-R Nismo will be available in five colors - Solid Red, Jet Black, Super Silver, Pearl White and Matte Gray - and comes nicely equipped with LED headlights, Recaro sport seats, a red-accented tachometer and a multi-function display. The model also has an eleven speaker Bose audio system that delivers "sound quality suitable for a supercar."
