After an endless string of teasers, UK-based Arash Cars has finally unveiled the AF8 supercar.

About four years ago Arash introduced the AF10 and now they are back with the AF8 which has the same 7.0-liter V8 engine. The GM-sourced motor delivers 550 bhp (410 kW) at 6,500 rpm and 640 Nm (472 lb-ft) of torque at 5,000 rpm in a body that weighs 1,200 kg (2,645 lbs). Output is transferred to the wheels with help from a six-speed manual gearbox wrapped around in a chassis made from high tensile tubular steel with integrated front and real roll over bars.

Arash Cars says the model will do 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in an estimated 3.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h). Stopping power is provided by ventilated 380mm front / 362mm rear discs with six- and four-piston calipers, respectively. Other highlights include carbon fiber body panels, bi-xenon headlights with LED taillights, a double wishbone suspension and a titanium exhaust system.

While the aforementioned AF10 looked pretty much like a Ferrari Enzo, the AF8 is an evolution since it has its own fairly attractive design, although the taillights could use some work. The vehicle is 4.15 meters long, 1.9 meters wide and 1.1 meters tall and rides on 19- front and 20-inch rear alloy wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Cup 2 tires.

Arash Cars will introduce the car next week at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
