The Audi A4 and Q7 are a little long in tooth but they might be sticking around for awhile as Focus is reporting the redesigned models have been delayed.
According to the German publication the next-generation A4 will be delayed until the summer of 2015 to make modifications to its styling, suspension and assistance systems. The rumored delay is unfortunate but it could allow the company to launch the A4 plug-in hybrid alongside the standard model.
The Q7 is also slated to be redesigned so its massive weight reduction - of up to 300 kg (661 lbs) - is better reflected in its styling. Interestingly, this could be the second reworking of the Q7 as previous reports have indicated the model was being delayed for an emergency redesign because it was “too brutal and ostentatious.”
