The Cooper Convertible is self explanatory, but the Cooper five-door is a slightly larger, slightly more practical version of the standard model. It closely echoes the three-door variant but adopts shorter front doors and new rear doors which improve access to the rear seat.

The Clubman, on the other hand, is significantly larger than its predecessor and adopts conventional rear doors. Despite this, the model will apparently retain the side-opening tailgate.

Regardless of which model is selected, all will offer familiar engines including:

  • A 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol with 134 bhp (100 kW) and 170 lb-ft (230 Nm) of torque
  • A 1.5-liter three-cylinder diesel with 114 bhp (85 kW) and 199 lb-ft (269 Nm) of torque
  • A 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol with 189 bhp (141 kW) and 221 lb-ft (300 Nm) of torque
