Hyundai’s second generation of the i20 supermini will reportedly be unveiled this October at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

The B-segment offering from Hyundai will adopt the firm’s fluidic sculpture 2.0 design language which means that its styling will be an evolution of the outgoing model which will have a more upscale look. The cabin will be roomy enough to host five people and Hyundai will offer at least a two-tone black & baby blue cloth upholstery as seen in our most recent spy shots.

Engine options will likely carry over from the current i20 so expect to find a 1.2-liter gasoline engine as well as a 1.1-liter CRDi diesel and two variants of the larger 1.4-liter CRDi. The cream of the crop will be a hotter variant part of the newly established “N” performance lineup that will debut with a more potent i20 slated to come out sometime in 2015.
