Ferrari has released a second teaser photo for its "149M Project" set to be unveiled tomorrow.

Gone are the days when teasers coming from automakers used to actually show something as we will have to settle with only a sketch of a silhouette. We still can't specify the exact identity of this vehicle but it's almost a guarantee the model is related to the California. From this sketch we presume the hard top model will have some F12 Berlinetta styling cues and reports are indicating it will look considerably different than the current California.

Ferrari codenamed the California as the F149 and now they are teasing the 149M Project, with the M meaning "Modificata" (Italian for "modified"). In other words, we expect to see an overhauled California based on the current model but with a slightly different name and most importantly with a 3.8-liter V8 twin-turbo engine borrowed from the Maserati Quattroporte and tuned to deliver approximately 552 HP (406 kW).

A public debut will occur at the beginning of March in Geneva.
