Volkswagen has introduced the Passat Sport at the Chicago Auto Show.

Designed to slot between the Passat SE and Passat SEL, the Sport has been equipped with fog lights, a rear spoiler and 19-inch Luxor-style alloy wheels. Three different colors will be available including Candy White, Tungsten Silver and an exclusive Urano Gray.

Interior changes are limited but the model comes nicely equipped with sport seats, faux carbon fiber trim and alloy pedals. There's also a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, stainless steel door plates and special floor mats.

Despite being called the "Sport," there's not sporty about the turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 170 bhp (126 kW) and 184 lb-ft (249 Nm) of torque.

The Passat Sport will go on sale shortly and pricing starts at $27,295 (including an $820 destination and handling charge).
