After yesterday's teaser photo, Chevrolet has introduced the Adra concept in New Delhi, India at the 2014 Auto Expo.

Adra is a compact crossover which has been developed entirely in India at the General Motors Technical Centre-India (GMTC-I) in Bangalore. It adopts Chevrolet's international design language but the automaker mentions it was configured in such a way so that it would cater to the needs of Indian customers.

It has all the ingredients you would expect to see in a crossover/SUV such as the high ground clearance, tall seating position and good all-around visibility in a roomy cabin – all wrapped around in a compact package since the car is less than four meters long.

Chevrolet hasn't said anything about a production version but this will likely happen since the company needs a model to take on the Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport in India.
