The 2015 Renault Espace has been spied undergoing cold weather testing.

Previewed by the Initiale Paris concept, the production model eschews the dated styling of its predecessor and adopts an upscale design that is thoroughly modern.

Starting up front, we can see LED-infused headlights and a prominent grille with a large Renault logo. Moving further back, there's a steeply raked windscreen that flows into a gently curved roof.

Renault has remained coy on specifications but has previously confirmed the model will ride on the new CFM1 platform and be built at the Georges Besse plant later this year.

Engine options remain unconfirmed but speculation suggests the model will be equipped with an assortment of fuel efficient four-cylinder petrol and diesel units.
