Dodge has announced plans to introduce the 2014 Journey Crossroad at the Chicago Auto Show.

Designed to slot between the Journey SXT and Limited, the Crossroad has been equipped with modified bumpers, revised side skirts and a gloss black grille. The model also has tinted head- and taillights, platinum chrome accents and 19-inch Hyper Black alloy wheels.

Interior changes are limited but the Crossroad comes nicely equipped with black leather seats, Liquid Graphite trim and a Uconnect infotainment system with an 8.4-inch display.

Under the hood, two different engines are available. The 2.4-liter four-cylinder produces 173 bhp (129 kW) and 166 lb-ft (225 Nm) of torque, while the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 churns out 283 bhp (211 kW) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. The engines are connected to four- and six-speed automatic transmissions which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.

The Dodge Journey Crossroad will go on sale this spring and pricing starts at $24,995 (excluding a $995 destination fee).
