Rumors are indicating Opel will unveil a convertible derivative of the Adam in March at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

Talks about a cabrio Adam surfaced the web almost a year ago and now it seem the car will see the light of day in less than two months before going on sale towards the end of the year. Set on to take the Fiat 500C and the Citroën DS3 Cabrio, the Opel Adam Cabrio is said to cost an extra 2,500 EUR over the standard model so in Germany it is expected to have a starting price of about 14,000 EUR.

As you would imagine, Vauxhall will get its own version of the Adam Cabrio and it's quite easy to imagine how the car will look like since a preview concept called Adam Rocks was shown at last year's Geneva Motor Show. The production model will probably be offered with the same engines as the regular model along with a pram-style electric folding roof.

More details should be disclosed in the upcoming weeks, prior to the rumored Geneva launch.
