Looking a lot like a Lego brick, the Jeep Junior (name not confirmed) seems to adopt a very boxy shape – kind of like the Nissan Cube - and appears to be quite small with a very short wheelbase so rear passengers will probably be a little cramped judging by the narrow rear doors. In these latest spy pics we take a look at the square taillights and catch a glimpse of the leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel with built-in controls.

The global Jeep model will have an Italian cousin in the form of the Fiat 500X and both of them are expected to ride on the 500L platform. The duo will be offered with a variety of Fiat engines (TwinAir Turbo, MultiAir Turbo, MultiJet II) and will be built in Italy at Fiat's Melfi factory.

The 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March seems to be right place for an official unveiling of both models.
