Mercedes recently unveiled the 2014 C-Class at the North American International Auto Show but new details are starting to emerge about its upcoming variants.

Citing company insiders, Car & Driver is reporting there will be another C-Class Coupe but it won't arrive until at least a year after the sedan is launched. In the meantime, we can expect a C-Class Estate to be unveiled later this year.

Interestingly, the AMG variants are expected to retain the C63 AMG moniker despite the switch to a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine. As one insider explained, the C63 AMG name is "too valuable" to let go.
