Toyota Mirai sports car concept headed to Detroit, could preview the Supra - report

According to a recent report, Toyota will introduce the Mirai sports car concept at the North American International Auto Show.

Details are limited but speculation suggests this could be the long-rumored Supra concept.  Nothing is official but "well-placed members of the Toyota team" previously told Autoblog the company will use the Detroit Auto Show to introduce a new concept that previews the upcoming Supra. 

Toyota has been tight-lipped about the concept but it is interesting to note that Mirai is Japanese for "the future."  This could imply it previews a production model or has technology that will be used in an upcoming vehicle. 

Toyota's press conference is scheduled for January 13th, so expect to learn more details shortly.
