VL Automotive and Katzkin Leather have teamed up to create a new Destino concept for the North American International Auto Show.

The companies declined to elaborate but the concept will be a stylish convertible that draws inspiration from the Destino sedan. We can also see a luxurious, four-seat interior with premium leather upholstery and red contrast stitching.

Little else is known about the car but it will likely be based on the Fisker Karma. This could efficiently make the car a revised version of the Karma S concept that at the North American International Auto Show five years ago.

It remains unclear what will power the concept, but the Destino sedan will be offered with two GM-sourced engines: a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 with 450 bhp (335 kW) and a supercharged 6.2-liter LS9 V8 with 638 hp (476 kW).
